Dear Valued Client,
Our top priority at Skirbunt & Skirbunt has always been to deliver unsurpassed representation to our clients. We have been monitoring the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. We take this matter seriously and we are making adjustments to our operations to protect our clients and our employees, while continuing to provide the unsurpassed representation you have come to expect.
We are, and we will remain, open for business. Your team at Skirbunt & Skirbunt is here for you, and our commitment to your continued representation is unwavering. Our attorneys and staff will be working remotely for the next two weeks. The good news is that Skirbunt & Skirbunt is technologically capable of enabling everyone on our team to work seamlessly from remote locations.
If an in-person meeting is desired, our conference facilities enable us to maintain social distancing for all the meetings. We will continue to be available to you as always, whether in person, by telephone, by email, or via video conferencing. Your emails and phone calls will continue to be answered responsively.
For three weeks commencing March 17, 2020, most courts will be closed to the public except for domestic violence hearings and for obtaining emergency restraining orders. While the courts are closed to the public, pretrials and status conferences may continue to be conducted as scheduled, but attendance will be by telephone only. During this period, no non-emergent contested hearings will likely occur. We will continue to closely monitor the operations of the domestic relations courts in every county where we practice. We will update you with respect to these changes as they occur and the impact they may have on your case.
Please contact us with whatever questions or concerns you may have with respect to the impact of the spread of the COVID-19 virus upon your matter. Our commitment to you remains unchanged during this time of uncertainty.
Very truly yours,
Skirbunt & Skirbunt
